What You Can Learn From My 20-Inch Wig
So, I wear wigs. Cue the platoon of people telling me I hate myself and my hair.
And I love wigs. Allow me to brace myself for the “you want to be White” claims.
I got my first wig when I was around 16 years old, before lace front wigs were as popular as they are now. My hair had been in locs for a while and I was nervous to even wear the wig out around people I knew. I guess I was scared of what people would think.
